More Syttende Mai hijinks. It's not made in Norway, but it is made in Minnesota, which is almost as good.

Today is Syttende Mai (17th May), the National Day of Norway. On this day in 1814, the Norwegian Constitution was signed, and it is the third oldest written constitution still in use.
This is certainly the most festive occasion in the country. Norwegians celebrate the day with vibrant parades and traditional clothing known as Bunad.
