In my last system update (Debian Stable) Libreoffice decided to start using my default Dark Mode setting for the body of writer and calc.. I love dark mode but in the office apps I need them to just be a standard white unless I change them. anyhow.. took me a while to figure out where and how to change this back..

Google System Updates Improve Samsung Galaxy Delays

Google system updates can sometimes cause confusion, as they include security patches, Google Play Services updates, and Google Play System updates. These updates should arrive without exceptions, but some Samsung Galaxy models have experienced unexpected delays. For instance, if your Samsung Galaxy hasn't received updates in recent months, you should see improvements, specifically the latest November 2023 update. This issue has occurred before, with Galaxy S21 and S22 models experiencing similar delays. The reason for these delays is unknown, as neither Google nor Samsung have commented on the recent case. However, the issue seems to have been resolved for newer models like the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold, and Galaxy S23 FE, which can now download and install the latest version of the Google Play system. Users of the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A34 have reported that updates don't even appear. In some cases, devices like the Galaxy S20 Ultra still have outdated versions from 2023. While a solution is expected, it may not be available until early 2024. The issue seems similar to a previous one, with the update being blocked in July 2022 and a solution provided in early 2023. To ensure your Galaxy device receives updates, go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Updates > Google Play System Update and update your device daily.
