To get there, I had to log into my university's website, navigate to our "Marketplace," find an icon on a poorly designed page for Amazon Business (the icon is different than Amazon), and then, I thought, it would be simple. Just like Amazon. No. I was wrong.

The whole capitalist business model disgusts me, and that it has permeated into USian academia angers me. This is an email I just received 8 days after ordering a set of headphones (for online meetings) on our institution's Amazon Business site. This has all been pitched to us as "efficiency," but the process is laughable. So far it has been 8 days, and I have no headphones. Only this email so far:
