Full recording of #FrankZappa's testimony before the US Senate Committee against censorship on September 19, 1985. Basicly, this is a spoken word album, with a lot of belching edited into it and a few snippets of #Zappa playing the #Synclavier. Interesting, though not essential.

The interesting question, from that video, is how on Earth the Script tool on the #Synclavier 2 managed to get a #VT100 to display musical notes on a set of staves. Actual VT100s didn't have Sixel or ReGIS.
My educated guess is either a custom character set in ROM, or (more likely) that's actually a VT240 or a VT105/VT125 (or a VT100 hardware upgraded to the same).

The Synclavier that Greg Hawkes played at Live Aid in 1985 is apparently in a private collection as of a few months ago. I wonder whether xe borrowed it back.
