"King of Pain" is a song by British rock band #thePolice, released as the second single from their fifth and final studio album #Synchronicity (1983). Written by the band's lead singer and bassist #Sting as a post-separation song from his wife, "#KingOfPain" conjures up symbols of pain and relates them to a man's soul. #AAndMRecords released "King of Pain" as the album's fourth single in the UK, while in many other countries it was released as the second single.

Spoke with a fascinating man at the farmer's market here in Cardiff. Mentioned an anecdote from 2019 when I had mentioned the Liverpool band The Coral to 2 scouse musicians sitting in the sun before a gig at a nearby venue.

A #synchronicity - transpires that their manager was from the Coral.

And I then discover that the man I am regaling my story to has photographed the Coral.
