In the meeting 7th of December Finnish Transport Workers´ Union AKT´s executive committee decided that AKT also joins with other unions to support Tesla workers. Blockade of Tesla vehicles starts in all the ports 20th December. That means Tesla vehicles or components destined to Swedish markets are not loaded by dockers.
That's why #UAW president #ShawnFain is planning a general strike in 2028, calling on other unions "to align your contract expirations with our own" so that all the contracts come up for renegotiation at the same time:

This is a very clever way to overcome America's ban on #SympathyStrikes, which was introduced in 1947 with the #TaftHartleyAct.

As electric car manufacturer Tesla refused to engage in negotiations on a collective agreement, Swedish union IF Metall realised it’s strike warnings on 27 October. With opposition to Tesla’s anti-union attitude growing, other Swedish unions are taking solidarity action to protect the right to collective bargaining. Unions in Norway are set to join the protest.
