We round off the campaign dealing with the last gambit of our enemies who send an Eye Tyrant to break up our plague curing business. But we give it a good spanking and then it's character epilogues. In two week's time it's my turn to run something, Cloud Empress.

So we break into the Cathedral and find some damning evidence of malfeasance in the records. And we also drain the negative energy from a funerary statue for use in alchemy to cure the plague. An angel objects to this so we, with no little trouble, take it down. Two of us have no love for the church and take evidence with us.

We've dealt with the Ifrits but the plague is still a big problem and so we lean on some nobles to foot the bill, only to run into a production problem that can probably be sorted out by burgling the cathedral records office. Fortunately the fire left a big hole in the roof and who are we to turn down providence?

The Ifrits and their forces invaded Eversink through a gate above the Denarii Cathedral, where we've assembled our troops and manage to contain them and fight back. It was made more complicated because we're not allowed to injure or allow to be injured one of the leaders, due to a favour called in by a different extraplanar entity. There was some local score settling too, I joined in and the cathedral took a hit. Intense, and fun!

We reach of destination, the Positive Plane and encounter, on it's border a forgetful magician who traded memories for time in the Positive Plane, so most of us opt out of visiting but two brave souls collect the components for the cure and we prepare to gate back. Except this attracts an enormous snake which Valdes takes down with enchanted crossbow bolts. And so we go home.

Our planar escapades continue with a visit to the Plane of Earth on a journey to the Positive Plane to find a cure for a Negative Plane Plague. On the way our planar expert upsets the locals but I managed to calm them down with music. And then we fight a Bulette which was pretty darn tough.

We escaped back to the Plane of water and thence to the Demi-Plane of Slime. It seems to be the rubbish dump of all the planes but we deal with some undead, meet Baba Yaga and hoodwink a pile of mephits guarding the exit gate into believing we are an envoy from Jubilex, Demon of Slime, by hiding under a slime drenched tarp to which skulls and three arses were added, with suitable emanations created by the alchemist. What a joy!

Turns out the mage has been teleported somewhere. We do a little bit of investigation and it's pretty clear the Aboleth, the beyond the planes monstrosity is responsible, so we beard it too its lair and raid. Trouble is the only way out is by teleportation and we find our mage, but he's unconscious and there's a whole bunch of squamous tentacles knocking us, and I mean me, around.

We straightened things out with our employer and now we're back on a mission, looking for an entrance to the Plane of Slime. About as appetising as you might imagine. Along the way I pick a fight with some seagulls and the alchemist rankles an aboleth's minion.

We investigate the Plane of Water and make a deal with merfolk after I savagely kill four of them in one round. Fighters seem my bag in F20 at the moment. But then we return to Eversink to find our patron dead. Our combined first thought is, "Well how do we get paid now?".
