Got all the YAML for #SwordForHire converted to Lua and basic navigation is in. Still playing with UI ideas. Still, decent progress for a few hours work.

First day of porting #SwordForHire to #Picotron is going well. It's good that I have all this Python code, and ChatGPT is not doing a bad job of porting it to Lua. Inventory works, kinda, but we'll build that out.

You know what my game's intro screen needs? Terminal based ray tracing. It just staggers me that nobody has made a curses-based ray tracing engine with dynamic lighting before.

After work, going to add particle effects. Why am I the first to do this?

The main adventure depends on the Curses termcap library, but there's no reason for the character creation and town map to be limited like that.
