Last night my #SwordCoastRamblers #DnD group landed in Bargewright Inn, a nexus of Zhent activity with three plot hooks between Storm Kings Thunder and Princes of the Apocalypse. I poked at them witnessing a few things and then what really got their attention was the Womford Bat, a local vampire. Spent most of the session grilling staff for information and trying to stake out the killer. I think I have a decent finale for the side trek lined up for next session as they're chasing after a caravan to warn them of the danger

Part of the fun of running an open world Sword Coast is figuring out how to present quests in a way that the party can prioritise and keep the story moving. Switched to different coin markers for high/low priority missions instead of generic exclamation marks. Also added fast travel points for the Harper's teleportation network. #dnd #SwordCoastRamblers
