Mii channel Firmware?
Hi all I’ve been trying to get my backup of Mario Kart 8 running on emulator but when I boot it it jsut asks me to select a mii on a grey screen. I’ve tried to run the mii character creation from the emulator but it again just goes grey when I should be able to design a mii or select a preset. Is there some firmware I’m missing or something? Can someone direct me where to begin looking for such a thing?

Missing game data detected on banned switch
My switch was recently banned, which isn’t and issue for me since I don’t play online, however something happened where my physical copy of pokemon violet was either corrupted due to an update or was mid update and my switch reset itself. When I try to open the game it tells me to connect to the internet to verify the game files for missing data. Since my switch is banned I am unable to connect to the internet in the first place. My question is how would I go about fixing this issue, assuming the game card or save file is affected.

Solder won't melt
I’m trying to solder on the flex cable for a PicoFly. I’ve added some solder to the bottom two points that are touching the metal surrounding the CPU. However, I seem to only be making a bigger and bigger ball of solder when trying to melt it. I’ve upped the temperature on my iron but that doesn’t seem to be doing anything. What am I doing wrong?

The guide I’m following suggests to solder the points on the cable first rather than after putting it in, which is what I’m currently working on. Does it look OK or should I add more solder before proceeding?

[Mod Post] Looking for Moderators and Community Transfer
Not going to be able to mod as much nowadays, and the two Switch communities need it the most especially when this one only has one mod now. I’m looking for moderators who have an understanding of the rules and is active enough to properly moderate as needed. Having some experience isn’t mandatory but will help a good deal. If anyone wants to take over then I can transfer communities and go from there. Switch pages are risky enough that I consider taking the pages down as a precaution, but I’ll see what everyone thinks first.
