Im Moment ist Juice (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer) auf dem Weg zum Mond und anschliessend Richtung Erde. Am 19. und 20. August dreht die Sonde jeweils einen Swing-By und zielt dann auf die Venus, wo sie im August 25 eine weitere Gravitationsschleuder mitkriegt und im September 26 und Januar 29 zwei weitere Swing-Bys an der Erde zelebriert, bis man dann im Juli 31 am Jupiter ankommt, dort bis November 34 an einer Reihe von Eismonden vorbeifliegt, um dann im Dezember 34 in einen Orbit um Ganymed einzuschwenken. Wegen der Gravitationsturbulenzen so nahe am grössten Planeten unseres Sonnensystems wird der Sonde im September 35 der Sprit ausgehen, so dass sie auf den Mond stürzt. Bis dahin wird Juice allerdings Berge von Daten, Fotos, Messungen nach Hause schicken. Und das alles für vergleichsweise wenig Geld, weil durch die Gravitations-Schleuder-Tricks massiv Treibstoff eingespart wird. Und Zeit, weil die kleine Raumsonde dadurch sehr schnell wird.
