My excursion to Skövde and a folk costume market, in a few photos.
1. The old farmstead where the market was held .
2. Me in my folk costume, waiting for the train.
3. Hand woven half wool fabric for the folk costume of Levene, which I did not buy.
4. Linon - patterned linen for a festive apron. I bought this
5. Hand woven fulled fabric with linen warp and wool weft. I bought this too, to make another skirt.
6. Me, very tired on my sofa. Cap removed and bun undone. And shoes and stockings removed.

Decorative "towels" hanging in from of the other towels on a rack with a shelf over was a Swedish thing in the 20th century, up to the 90s or so, in rural areas.
I use them still, and I just might have too many.
No, who am I kidding.
Some I have made myself, some my mother have made, one is made by my sister @a.lena.e.svensson . And many are from charity shops.
The ones with embroidered text are referring to a popular film from 1932.
