Last week, @HailsandAles mentioned the new Filth on his blog here: https://www.hailsandales.club/my-favourite-releases-of-the-week-18072025. He described it as cavernous, lumbering-- accurate.

This week's #ThursDeath is one I've been meaning to feature for a while - the excellent BASTARD GRAVE from Helsingborg, Sweden and their incredible, riffy third LP 'Vortex of Digust' from 2023. This one is a crushing, crunching fantastic listen of a death metal record with a real old school feel.
