Writing event today. I though that I would have slept much better, but I did not.. I was a bit late to the event, but still got a lot of things done. For dinner tonight #swabian cuisine.

Das hier ist etwas sehr schwäbisches: ein Pfitzauf

Es ist ein "leichterer" Teig als bei einem Pfannkuchen und wird in becherartigen Keramikformen ausgebacken.

Sehr fein, schmeckt warm, kalt, mit Puderzucker, Marmelade, beidem oder keinem davon und man kann es auch am nächsten Tag noch essen. Zum Brunch oder Frühstück beispielsweise.

My first attempt at Swabian Spaetzle. A small amount of home milled Spelt thrown into the mix. The recipe made quite a lot so I froze some. Today we had some of the frozen batch and I can say that it certainly does freeze well. #spaetzle #swabian #cooking
