❗️Traces of radioactive #Caesium_137 were detected along #Norway’s border with #Russia - The #Barents_Observer

#Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (#DSA) says the amount of Caesium discovered in the air filters is "very low." #Bredo_Møller with #DSA’s Emergency Preparedness unit at #Svanhovd is not worried.

"The levels are clearly higher than normal, but pose no risk to humans or the environment," #Møller said.

The origin of #Caesium_137 is still unknown, according to the #DSA.
