Prakticky ve všech vedlejších ulicích Vídně je zóna 30 a cykloobousměrky. Cykloulice mezi Karlákem a hlavákem je ještě příjemnější a kolem kostela st.Elisabeth ještě přechází ve "školní ulici". Okolí křižovatek je přehledné, řízeně tam parkují kola a nebo jsou tam zahrádky místních podniků. Po celém vnitřním okruhu vedou po obou stranách ulice oddělené cyklostezky od ostatní dopravy většinou stromořadím a/nebo zelení. Povoleno je tam jezdit obousměrně, místy se smíšeným pohybem chodců. Cyklovýpadovka z Prateru na Bratislavu je široká jako dálnice, ale pruhy jsou tam i pro koně a běžce.

Podle výskytu žen na koloběžkách, kolech, skejtech, bruslích atp.(mikromobilta) v hlavním dopravním prostoru ulic si lze vytvořit obrázek o přívětivosti/vyspělosti té které obce.
