[1/n] I'm in the end stages of developing a set of patches for Surge Synth (a free and open source hybrid synth).

I'm not using samples.

Most of my instruments use principles of physical modelling. For example, the wind instruments make a reedy or noisy sound, a resonating tube, and some processing for a horn or bulb at one end. The circuit design and effects give it character similar to how the real instrument plays dynamically.
