Mungkin saya bukan "autisme ringan" atau "mild autism". Saya rasa tahap autisme saya lebih tinggi. Memerlukan sokongan yang lebih rapi berbanding apa yang autisme ringan perlu.

@Tarrenvane Very much this 🩷

There's a decent video by Kaelynn Partlow about [meltdowns]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJBsHiYnnjQ). Whilst she focusses on autistic support needs, what she's describing applies broadly to many neurodivergent folks.

... when an autistic person has a meltdown, it means the demands or expectations of a situation exceed their current level of ability. ... everyone's level of ability changes day-to-day, due to external factors, and when all of your tolerance is used up and you've tried every coping skill you know, a meltdown is an unfortunate but natural response.

What’s behind the UK’s increase in autism diagnoses?

Experts are undecided about whether there is overdiagnosis or whether more children are autistic

First reason why I don't consider my spawner (or what some would call a mother) part of family.

Family understands my low spoon state and gets the clue that even the most basic tasks like cleaning or cooking or even feeding animals is impossible to me, simply because of NO SPOONS.

She does not, and says I'm lazy.

Family understands that my room is my safezone, allows me to regenerate spoons and generally I feel best doing my work there.

She does not, and she prefers to label me as an internet addict (it will shock you but just because I'm in front of my laptop doesn't mean I'm on the internet), she again prefers to call me lazy and says it's somehow a bad thing I will spend most of my life in this room.
