Il Tempo: Cancellato anche il secondo SuperG di Courchevel, coppa specialità a Odermatt

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – E' stato annullato anche il secondo dei due superG previsti a Courchevel, Francia, nell'ultima tappa di Coppa del Mondo maschile prima delle finali di Lillehammer.La forte nevicata ha reso impossibili gli sforzi degli organizzatori per garantire le sufficienti misure di sicurezza in pista e la giuria di gara ha così deciso per la cancellazione della prova domenicale che non sarà recuperata.La cancellazione della seconda gara di Courchevel consegna a Marco Odermatt anche la coppa di specialità di superG: l'elvetico con 425 punti è irraggiungibile per tutti, a cominciare dagli austriaci Vincent Kriechmayr 8267), Stefan Babinsky (243) e Raphael Haaser (241) che lo seguono in classifica. Cinque gli azzurri al superG delle finali di Coppa del Mondo: Giovanni Franzoni (quinto con 240 punti), Dominik Paris (nono, 157), Mattia Casse (15esimo, 110), Christof Innerhofer (19esimo, 86) e Guglielmo Bosca, ventesimo con 74 punti.

ROME (ITALPRESS) – The second of the two SuperG scheduled in Courchevel, France, in the last leg of the men’s World Cup before the Lillehammer finals, has also been cancelled. The heavy snowfall made it impossible for the organizers to guarantee sufficient safety measures on the course, and the race jury therefore decided to cancel Sunday’s race, which will not be recovered. The cancellation of the second Courchevel race also awards Marco Odermatt the specialty cup in SuperG: the Swiss skier with 425 points is unattainable for everyone, including Austrians Vincent Kriechmayr (8267), Stefan Babinsky (243) and Raphael Haaser (241) who follow him in the standings. VAL DI FASSA (ITALPRESS) – Elena Curtoni si prende il superG in Val di Fassa, prova valida per la Coppa del Mondo di sci alpino femminile 2025/2026. La 35enne di Morbegno taglia il traguardo con il tempo di 1'29″07 e centra una vittoria, la quarta in carriera, che mancava dal 16 dicembre 2022 (discesa St.Moritz). Seguono la norvegese Kajsa Vichoff Lie (+0″26) e la sorprendente Asja Zenere, terza a 0″27 con il pettorale numero 33 e al primo podio in carriera in Coppa del Mondo. In top ten anche le altre azzurre Laura Pirovano, ottava a 0″46, e Sofia Goggia, nona a 0″64. A punti Roberta Melesi, 12esima a 0″75, e Sara Allemand, 26esima a 1″91. Fuori dalla top 30 Sara Thaler (+2″46), Nicol Delago (+2″48) e Ilaria Ghisalberti (+2″52).

VAL DI FASSA (ITALPRESS) – Elena Curtoni takes the Super-G in Val di Fassa, a test event for the 2025/2026 women’s FIS Alpine World Cup. The 35-year-old from Morbegno crosses the finish line in 1’29″07 and achieves a victory, her fourth in her career, which had been missing since December 16, 2022 (downhill in St.Moritz). Kajsa Vichoff Lie of Norway (+0″26) and the surprising Asja Zenere follow, taking third place in 0″27 with bib number 33 and her first podium in the World Cup. Laura Pirovano, the eighth Italian skier at 0″46, and Sofia Goggia, ninth at 0″64, also finished in the top ten.
