Yes, absolutely.
But not only in China. Old beliefs & #traditions can survive centuries.
Maybe one reason for successful of religions is if they can adopt the holy places & festivities of their predecessors.
The #CCP is in some parts deeply connected to the Chinese tradition while other parts are fighting it.
#Sunzi's #ArtofWar was studied by the People's Liberation Army
In the VII. five-year plan of 1986 the CCP brought back #confucianism & #传统文化 traditional #culture
Perhaps one might speak of #Daoist influence. #Sunzi 孫子 applied what later came to be called Daoist principles to #warfare. He refused to accept that #war need be a game of protracted campaigns. He put forth instead a natural path to #peace, either by swift victory or by conquering the enemy before battle could begin.
