A good day so far ...

✅ doctors office called to reschedule appointment - no need for a long drive today 🎉

✅ housekeeper took care of the heavy cleaning and I sent her home early

✅ an extra long walk with #SunshineSadie
through the woods and along the river before the rain moves in

✅ watered all the plants 🪴

✅ filled out work order request for some apartment repairs

✅ chicken and rice in the rice cooker - smells so good!

✅ watching the clouds move slowly on by against the mountains in the north

It's very weird to be walking around in 65° weather (30° over historical average) in early March in New England in a light cotton shirt with my sleeves rolled up - surrounded by a ton of snow.

Like most dogs, #SunshineSadie prefers to prance around in the snow as long as possible.

The river is running quite high - about a month early. If we have another spring and summer without much rainfall, the snow pack won't help as much as it could.

Whine alert 😫

It snowed about 4 or 5 inches today, beautiful heavy wet snow. It really hasn't been shoveled or plowed in most places. Including the sidewalks and some of the roads.

So on our evening walk we trudged through the heavy wet snow with steady rain falling on us - since the temperature is now rising.

I am now very cranky, stressed, and hungry. I just bought a raincoat for #SunshineSadie because I think this is going to be a helluva spring.
