Only one film tonight. Watching St. Ives (1998), a British television movie costume drama based on an unfinished Robert Louis Stevenson story set in the Napoleonic era. I'll say that it got bad reviews, which seems unwarranted in my viewing. But I'll watch anything with Richard E. Grant in it, plus of course Miranda Richardson and Anna Friel. It's actually quite fine, a bit funny as one might expect, and I haven't finished it yet so don't tell me how it ends. I may not tell you either.
