RFE: Can I Play? (Summer Soul-stice | June 2023)

Sun's out, fun's on! Here's a swinging mix of summery grooves, blending a bit of new with some fun 70s/80s deep-ish cuts. On the newer tip, we've got a great Myles Sanko Remix, a horn-forward Young Gun Silver Fox, some good love from Mamas Gun (featuring YGSF's Andy Platts), and some blissed out antipodean grooves from LEISURE. On the older tip, we bring in some early Pointer Sisters, Chaka Khan, Brothers Johnson, Earth Wind & Fire, Minnie Riperton, and the late great Tina Turner (with a song produced by the folks behind 80s synth band Heaven 17).
