Yes well, my garage & back garden did flood again & worse than last time. I’ve taken pictures & emailed my housing manager, hopefully it’ll be dealt with properly this time. Silt, dirt & debris everywhere ☹️. It’s going to be impossible for me to clean it all up myself, I can do some but not the fine crap in the garage. I can’t wear anything on my feet when I come into the house from the garage either due to the silt. What a mess. I’ve emailed community housing, just waiting to hear back. I estimate it came up at least 15cm as the overflow gully drain was topped with a pile of litter.

That storm was INSANE. Our power was knocked out a few times. The windows were shaking with the thunder and rain. The sky kept lighting up with lightning. It was actually quite scary for a while.

My niece’s verdict from the first picture was that it looks safe (as a roof), but it also looks like very dark clouds so maybe not so safe. It soon turned darker and lightning began and we all moved inside before a brief torrential rain began. She’s a smart 4-year-old!

Last night I woke up at half four for big thunderstorm and was instantly glued to the window 😍

When I was a kid I used to be afraid of the thunder really bad, but with the help of my dad I learned to love and respect it. Nowadays anytime there's a chance to watch nature's light show I gladly enjoy it!

These pictures are actually screenshots of some videos I took last night. It's interesting to see frame by frame how the lightning moves on the sky ⚡
