Play Ball and Fight FascistsSo tonight is a D’Amati Red Blend from Italy (but bottled in France?) and milk chocolate stars. Wine is a nice medium body, very berry and a slight bit of tartness to it. It went really well with the chocolate and I could see it going with dessert very well. Then I rummaged through the fridge for some summer sausage and smoked gouda and it went well with those, too, especially the sausage.
I picked up some vension summer sausage at the butcher shop and tried some tonight and it's really good!
Much darker than other summer sausages I've had, and almost a tiny bit sweet?
