Unpopular opinion, but #summerchristmas clearly triumphs over a #winter #christmas for dozens of reasons.

Please enjoy Xmas however you like ofcourse, but I personally just wish #australia would do away with the last remnants of British customs and fully embrace the southern hemisphere.

You don't need fake snow, you've got sand and beach!
Ditch the eggnog, embrace the oyster shooters!
Get rid of the heavy warm foods, do a braai or seafood platter!
Don't put candles up - it's still light at 8pm - hang seashells in a tree.
Why fake pinetree Christmas decor when all the flowers are in bloom?

Make it authentic and weird 😅

38 degrees celcius outside and my cardboard airproofing and dodgy curtain inatallation on Christmas eve is going strong.

It's even somewhat cool in here with a minimal running of air con. I have a lot of windows. My Dog does not appreciate what I do for us.
