Internet security people, can anyone help?

My hosting company claims that my wordpress-powered website is under some kind of attack and I should install a plugin called Sucuri?

Does this sound reasonable?

I've tried to avoid having any plugins because so many of them break privacy.

Sucuri looks a bit dodgy too as it hasn't been updated in 7 months.

It seems #sucuri *may* be blocklisting Tor users.
For those not aware, sucuri offers a Web Application Firewall and a CDN.
They also use outdated terminology.
@dsfgs @funkybuddha I did a quick skim through it and superficially it looks quite well worded. It would be interesting to know rationale for tagging each digital feudalist & not tagging. Criteria is not stated. I saw no mention of #Sucuri, which is a Tor-hostile gatekeeper (though perhaps small). I get the impression the only criteria is an actor’s size, not behavior.

Can someone tell the asshole at invisible-island.net to unblock my country?

I'm not sure why would you need to block Argentina in the first place, I'm trying to download the source to mawk here.

Note that #Cloudflare’s fedi host (noc.social) is still tied to perniciously blind Tor-hostility: #Sucuri
