Check out this huge agave bloom that I saw today. I wish I had caught the plant from another angle with more sky than house in the background. Maybe tomorrow.

April 8, 2026 @ 19:04 Good evening family & friends❣️ Well my day is pretty much done, and it was a busy one. Emma and I worked on repotting my newest succulents, and also packing away a large portion of my winter clothes and bringing out the spring/fall clothes. In a month or 2 the rest of winter clothes will get packed and the summer clothing will come out - most of which will definitely be too big - but for now I have a good mix of clothes to wear in this insane roller coaster of weather we're having. I also got started on the mounds of laundry I need to do (about 12 loads I would say), made dog food, discussed and planned this year's garden outside, etc. I am not satisfied with today's Wed. Worship results but I could do no more. Playing my keyboard has been a bit of a struggle lately but hoping my therapy will help with that somewhat. It did turn out to be a sunny day and even pretty warm, we spent a good part of it outside in the sun which was beautiful. Pete had an interesting experience today: He and Leelan were listening to the ham radio in the car and were tuned to the local repeater, when they started receiving transmissions from Artemis! They were so excited and listened for quite a while. I haven't seem Pete so excited about something in a long time. I'm including a photo below of my ever-growing succulent collection now that they are all in their new (for now - they will of course be repotted as they grow) pots, some of which have special memories to me. I just love my little babies and talk to them every time I walk past. Anyway, I hope you are having a good week, and I will see you tomorrow, good night❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

It does recover nicely :)
So happy this one produces these thick leaves again (all the leaves with the health yellow edges emerged in the last three months. I guess that means it’s over the hill.

All I did was planting it depper than before and using a pumice heavy soil. It really payed off
