Koko Crater Botanical Garden on Oahu does have a grove of plumeria (like those we showed you in the previous post).

However, the garden is better known for its cacti and succulent gardens.

It is quite unexpected to see these cacti thriving in a tropical climate in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

But, that is what makes Koko Crater unique among the five botanical gardens administered by the City and County of Honolulu.
