Here is a #NoKings day fox. We (non-fox experts) think this is a female who may be pregnant.
We see another fox interacting with her on an ongoing basis. We (non-fox experts) think he is her younger mate.

We tossed some cashews out into the back yard and it turned into an exciting. The crows gobbled them up, but the squirrels buried them (when burying a nut, apparently SMOOSHING your face into the ground is required).
GeoffWalking back from the shops, a cluster of bird droppings on the footpath gave away the Tawny Frogmouth roost in a branch above
One slept while the other gave the clear hint it would prefer I moved on
Our squirrels are big fans of popcorn. Makes one wonder if they have a hidden movie theater in the trees somewhere! ;-)
