これは「Stunt Trax」というモードの映像。フレームレートがすんごい低くて「辛うじて遊べる」くらいだけど、車両の重みとかがマリオカートよりも F‐Zero よりもシッカリ感じられる。このまんま 60 fps で描画されたのを見てみたい。

スーパーファミコンの『ワイルドトラックス』（Wild Trax、海外では Stunt Race FX）というゲームがある。『スターフォックス』と同じくスーパー‐FX‐チップを積んでいて、ポリゴンによる 3D‐描写の作品。前から技術的に興味を持っていたんだけど、ニンテンドースイッチのオンラインサービスの一部として触れる事をようやく認識したので昨夜からちょっと触ってみています。
画像は肝心の走行中の様子がないけど、「2 分 59 秒 99」って値が若干面白かったので撮影した物。

FiXato@cwebber even with the lag I definitely enjoyed playing #StuntRaceFX!
But if I were to play it again, this overclocked version would probably be the way to go... It looks so much more fast-paced!
That game has so much charm! Love the sound effects and use of colours, and those cute anthropomorphised car designs!
