It has to be understood that the #protests in #Kenya are about the finance bill, but they're also about a lot more. They're about #StructuralAdjustments and #US / #IMF #neocolonialism. They're about the #military intervention in #Ayiti. They're about #YouthLiberation and building #StudentPower. They're about #solidarity for a #FreePalestine. And since there's been such intense #StateRepression against the protests, they're about the ability to protest without fear of repression.
