In April 2019, #Russian Deputy Prime Minister #Yuri_Borisov announced an agreement to lease the #Tartus port for 49 years. At the same time, #Stroytransgaz signed an investment contract, committing to invest over $500 million in the modernization of the port. #Borisov promised that the work would be completed within four years.
