Italian News by RSSIl Tempo: Ferrovie, Strisciuglio (Trenitalia): "Momento decisivo per il rilancio del settore"
(Adnkronos) - “Oggi è una giornata importante per noi, perché celebriamo l'ingresso di Trenitalia in Alis avvenuto qualche mese fa". Lo ha ricordato l'amministratore delegato di Trenitalia Gianpiero Strisciuglio intervenuto alla quinta edizione di LetExpo, la manifestazione dedicata ai trasporti, alla logistica e ai servizi alle imprese in corso a Verona fino al 13 marzo. Strisciuglio ha evidenziato come i temi dell'intermodalità e della sostenibilità rappresentino elementi centrali nella strategia del gruppo: “Accanto alla logistica, anche per il trasporto dei passeggeri i temi di intermodalità e sostenibilità, insieme alla spinta verso il ferroviario, sono pienamente condivisi e costituiscono uno dei pilastri del nostro piano industriale”.
Il settore sta attraversando una fase di profonda trasformazione sostenuta anche dai grandi investimenti infrastrutturali. “Il piano industriale si inserisce in una fase di rilancio del sistema ferroviario e di grande trasformazione. Oggi abbiamo circa 1.300 cantieri al giorno sull'infrastruttura e quasi 9.000 treni che circolano quotidianamente, di cui 6.500 operati da Trenitalia”.
Tra le priorità del gruppo anche il rafforzamento degli investimenti nel trasporto regionale. “Negli ultimi anni Trenitalia ha investito circa 7 miliardi di euro per rinnovare la flotta regionale e completeremo questo percorso entro il 2027”, ha ricordato l'amministratore delegato, sottolineando che oggi “l'85% dei treni regionali in Italia è di ultimissima generazione”.
Railways, Strisciuglio (Trenitalia): "Decisive moment for the relaunch of the sector”
(Adnkronos) - “Today is an important day for us, as we celebrate the entry of Trenitalia into Alis, which occurred a few months ago.” This was recalled by Trenitalia CEO Gianpiero Strisciuglio, speaking at the fifth edition of LetExpo, the event dedicated to transport, logistics and business services, currently taking place in Verona until March 13th. Strisciuglio highlighted that the themes of intermodality and sustainability represent central elements in the group’s strategy: “Alongside logistics, for passenger transport too, the themes of intermodality and sustainability, together with the push towards rail, are fully shared and constitute one of the pillars of our industrial plan.”
The sector is undergoing a phase of profound transformation fueled also by major infrastructure investments. “The industrial plan fits into a phase of relaunching the rail system and of great transformation. Today we have approximately 1,300 construction sites per day on the infrastructure and almost 9,000 trains that circulate daily, of which 6,500 are operated by Trenitalia.”
Among the group’s priorities is also strengthening investments in regional transport. “In recent years Trenitalia has invested approximately 7 billion euros to renew the regional fleet and we will complete this journey by 2027,” the CEO recalled, pointing out that today “85% of the regional trains in Italy are of the latest generation.”
