Metastream is underway: today, we'll dive deep into creating a Viewer Character for use in my further streams. In summary, idea is very similar to #StreamAvatars - little creatures spawn and roam around on the bottom of the screen, reminding of the viewers in chat.
But I have some nuances which I wish to cover with #GodotEngine. 👾 It's smooth animations, and physics, and #Peertube #LiveChat plugin support, and partial viewer authorization... Woah! More of that in the separate stream, but right now let's concentrate on the design part in #Inkscape.

На этом этапе мета-стрим: сегодня углубимся в создание персонажа зрителя для применения в дальнейших моих включениях. В общем-то, идея очень близкая к #StreamAvatars - крохотные существа появляются и двигаются внизу экрана, напоминая о посетивших чат стрима зрителях.
Но у меня есть некоторые нюансы, которые хотелось бы покрыть через #GodotEngine. 👾 Это и плавные анимации, и физика, и работа с #Peertube #LiveChat плагином, и частичная авторизация зрителя... Воу-воу! Подробнее в отдельном стриме, а пока сконцентрируемся на дизайне в #Inkscape.

#streaming, espc under #linux, is really ducking frustrating. While OBS works perfectly, all other tools are simply not available.
For example #streamavatars is not offically supported for linux, and the developers have not even reacted to the steam forum thread asking about it.
Ety, Ringer of Bells ^GToday was a productive day, and I'm celebrating it.
* Set up a #WriteFreely sandbox to play with it, and it's exactly what I want, out of the box.
* Continued working on the #Owncast platform provider for #StreamAvatars. Now it supports chat-actions, and understands moderator roles.
* Also submitted some feedback to Owncast on GH. Seems like the feature I need to close the loop on remaining features might make it into 0.1.2. Score.
* Plugged away at #OBS for my own streams. Adds Now Playing.
Ended up spending more of the weekend than I planned working on this, but there's now an #owncast #StreamAvatars platform provider.
Have decided that while multistreaming is the goal, feature parity will be the philosophy. If I can't find a way to make it work in owncast, it won't be implemented for #twitch either.
