Just finished reading Bang! The compete history of the universe, by Brian May, Patrick Moore, and Chris Lintott
Very pleased with how much I already knew. Also proud of myself for reading it in tiny bursts as the numbers make my head hurt so I have to do little and often to actual take it in.
I’m 3/3 on the polymath training challenge I’m taking part in on storygraph.

In February I enjoyed Murder on the Links by Agatha Christie, 1923, which brightened those dull and damp days! Here are a few thoughts on this lesser known but very entertaining early Christie #bookstodon #BookReview #reading #Storygraph #Braille @bookstodon

Trying out #BookWyrm. Anyone know if there's some mechanism for protecting against vandalism, consolidating duplicate authors etc?

I just tried importing my #StoryGraph data and it failed to import "Code". I started adding it and it turns out there are like 5 different versions registered under different variants of "Code", "Code second edition", "Code 2nd edition" and different versions of the author.

Also, the book is not on the first result page when searching for "Code"? 🤷

Finished reading 8 books in February 2026. I think that's still pretty good, especially given the length of the month and the absolute deluge of transcripts I receive to proofread every February. (I figure attorneys start "circling back" in January to schedule the depositions they put off in December.)

Anyway, after DNF'ing a couple of audiobooks I just wasn't into, my non-fiction book for February was Trixie and Katya's Guide to Modern Womanhood by #DragRace alums Trixie Mattel and Katya, read by the authors. It was humorous, though they did seem to throw an awful lot of shade at one of my favorite queens. Leave Ginger Minj alone!

I'm reading two series that I'm thoroughly enjoying: Spellmonger by Terry Mancour and Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. They're different but have some things in common, including frequently making me guffaw. I think Minalan and Carl would get along really well. They're both creative problem solvers who are damn good at killing monsters.
