I just finished a big update for my LR2052 storage box system 😊 All series are now at revision E, and I added new plain storage box variants for every height.
I also included a few requested tweaks, like open-bin boxes with a higher front wall.

I’m still working on updating Printables, blocked due to size limits.
I just released the first batch of revision E storage boxes. I rebuilt the pipeline to generate STEP and 3MF files, and the quality is noticeably better.
New:
• plain variants without label area
• a minimalistic series label
• meshes that follow the original surfaces more closely

I’ve just made a small update to the download area for the LR2052 Storage Boxes System. It should fix the issues some of you ran into downloading the large multi-GB packages.

Switching to the high-flow nozzle on the PrusaXL made a huge difference in print speed! I printed 18 sturdy storage boxes using leftover Fiberlogy PETG in just 14 hours. These are structural, high-quality prints with excellent layer adhesion.
One of my favorite features of the PrusaXL is spool join! I can load up all my nearly empty spools, hit print, and let it do the rest. Here’s a batch of storage boxes printed with leftover PETG—Fiberlogy Vertigo, Prusament Galaxy Black, and Anthracite Grey.

(Revision C vs. D)
In Revision C, the label area corners lacked perfect arcs with consistent thickness, and the 90º angle slowed down printing.
Revision D introduces soft transitions and a 45º angle, solving these issues, though it slightly shortens the label area for one-unit wide boxes.

In Revision C, the groove for aligning storage boxes on the rail grids was a weak spot. By lowering the point where the gap is bridged in Revision D, I’ve been able to strengthen this connection.
The geometry step ensures the slicer aligns the bridges differently at the edge and center, enhancing stability.
