According to multiple eyewitness accounts from inside Iran, the Islamic Republic has used indiscriminate and disproportionate force against peaceful protesters. The Sunday Times reports at least 16,500 killed, over 330,000 injured, and several tens of thousands arbitrarily detained. The UN Human Rights Council will hold a special session this Friday.

I don't care what the subject matter is. Threats of violence are not acceptable. There are 340 million people in the US. No policy will make every single person happy.

If people don't like the job these government agnecies do, then people should start to be part of the conversation part of the government and participate. Ours is a participatory government. And yes, that even includes the ability to protest if the government won't listen.
