The Chop chant is straightforwardly racist. Every fan who does it is being racist, and everyone who tolerates it, from fans to team to league to the TV stations and advertisers, are tolerating open racism.

Send a letter to Malaysian timber giant Samling telling them to stop legal harassment of forest defenders Samling Plywood has slapped SAVE Rivers โ a grassroots NGO โ with a defamation lawsuit designed to silence the organization and bankrupt its directors. SAVE Rivers published reports from Indigenous communities in Sarawak who found Samling logging their land without consent. Samling will attempt to crush SAVE Rivers in court in a strategic litigation against public participation (SLAPP) suit. And we canโt let this happen. Tell Samling to respect Indigenous rights in Sarawak and the right of civil society organizations to publish community concerns as a matter of public interest.
