They're price-fixing and colluding to keep prices sky-high, even as inflation comes down. Meanwhile, Galen Weston, the owner of Loblaws, is worth $18 billion. This is market failure. When the market fails to deliver the necessities of a dignified life at prices people can afford, the government needs to step up. We need a public option for food and groceries.
