A #Virginia #school board voted to restore the names of 2 schools previously named after #Confederate leaders at a meeting that began Thurs evening & stretched into the early hours of Friday.
 The #ShenandoahCounty #SchoolBoard voted 5-1 to call the schools #StonewallJackson HS & #AshbyLee #ElementarySchool, 4 yrs after the board — under different members — changed the names of the institutions due to their ties to Confederate ldrs Stonewall Jackson, #RobertELee & #TurnerAshby.
