Round 2 of my NASCAR 2023 Season, reporting from Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA:

Qualifying well from 9th, the # 30 Home Depot Chevy was very edgy but also quick! With some bold 3-wide moves (and a couple smooches of the Turn 4 wall), I got to the front around the midpoint of the race. I hit the jackpot as a debris caution came out during my pit stop while I was a lap ahead of the field, which gave me a huge lead to work with on fresh tires! Not wanting a repeat of Daytona’s mistake I took it carefully through traffic and snagged my first win 🛞💨

With today’s results, I lock in a spot for the playoffs! 🏁

Last night I kicked off my season with the Daytona 500, and it was a rollercoaster!

Starting 18th, I fought my way to the front before losing ground on a slow pit stop. A lucky yellow and risky call for no tires put me back in the lead late, but I misjudged a lapped car and caused a wreck 🙃 I was able to keep running though and scrambled for points with a 20th place finish.
