And you think you've got problems ...

“In case you were wondering, tofu tends to stink pretty bad after sitting out for three weeks!” said the fire department’s post.

A tractor-trailer carrying tofu that crashed southwest of Rolla has been stinking up a part of Phelps County for weeks.

Wrecked truck carrying tofu stinks up Missouri town

Local authorities say no one was hurt in the Phelps County crash, but the scene at the 172-mile marker is still there. One local resident said online that the rotting tofu left behind smells similar to catfish bait.

Gotta love STL weather, we were over 25° yesterday I think, now its just 4, yay. Almost time to go back to the book mines, going to be tech interesting today as I have to key in books so I'll be setting up a keyboard, tablet, hub and power bank to run things, hopefully I won't need to break out a power supply as the cord'll wind up being a trip hazard. Thinking of taking most if not all of the week off for this, because when I finish with this app and get the books packed for shipping, I'm going to turn around and go through with another app, and then another app, and then finally take the remains to Half Price Books. We'll need to hit Menards for boxes, I think 10 small moving boxes should work…
Anyone know of any charities that pick up clothes out here? I had an appointment with the one company most charities use out here on Fri and they didn't bother to show up, so now I'm looking for an alternative.

Bradford pears are everywhere and spread like malaria. There is no way to get rid of them short of issuing a flame thrower to every resident of the state - or nuking the state from orbit.

8 native St. Louis trees to plant instead of stinky, invasive Callery pears

Again this year, if Missourians remove a Callery pear from their yards or land, they can get a free native tree while supplies last. Registration ends on April 16.

Biked across the Chain of Rocks Bridge from north St. Louis across to Chouteau / Gabaret Island, then biked down to the southern tip. Pretty neat view from there, and a decent amount of bird action along the river. 16 miles round-trip.

Ugh, yesterday was a long day so I wound up sleeping in 45 minutes this morn, which means I'm not catching up on the internet, too tired for it last night, not enough time this morn.
Lets see how today goes, work's been getting mad busy, thankfully the volume is stuff I can fit in my car, seems the delivery company managed to become Ulta's primary shipper, and most of their stuff is small. It does however mean that I'm now frequently moving 80 to 100 packages, so longer days.
Weather is crazy, Sunday afternoon was short sleeve weather when me and the roomie went grocery shop, by that night it was tornadoes, and next morning was temperatures in the teens, yesterday was low thirties and feels like never hit thirties. Today? High is in the low sixties. ?!¿¡
Tomorrow'll be my last day this week, Friday getting donations out for charity, husband's clothes plus six totes of clothes from back in my storage unit flipping days, at least I'll get something out of here. Saturday I'll be selling at the Sunset Hills flea market in their community center. At some point I have to get the car serviced, and prolly need to replace the tires too, really need more days in the week for everything.
