We just found out my cousin and his wife are expecting a baby. So for #smallbusinesssaturday we took Mom down to a tiny little yarn shop downtown and got her supplied up to make a baby blanket. I love little shops that are basically all inventory and there's room for maybe one customer at a time!

But they're doing too well, and moving to a bigger space that will have room for a classroom and a bit of social space for #StitchNBitch, that's closer to our neighborhood. Darn!

(I'm kidding, natch)

going to have a #StitchNBitch with friends a little later. trying to figure out what project to bring with me:

- #Hanukkah sweater (I haven't worked on it for a bit, so I may need to find it?)
- the new stocking for my youngest #trans sister with her real name (I need to frog it and start over with larger needles bc my tension is ridiculous)
- giant stash-busting pouf (only issue with this one is that I usually want to have my entire acrylic stash with me when I work on it)
- sewing patches onto clothing (I'm pretty sure I know where the patches and the clothes I want to put patches on are, so that's easy)
- work on some undefined writing/drawing project?

I'm open to suggestions 💜

I wish that it was possible to use larger rooms for #PemmiCon (or, really, ANY convention) parties - I'd love to socialize, but I couldn't even deal with super crowded rooms *before* the pandemic.

I'm in for the night, but tomorrow I might look into instigating a rogue #StitchNBitch at some point.
