When I moved to Mastodon, I had the idea that I would use it mostly to share my creative side & random musings about life in general, leaving behind the toxicity that is the bird app - Alberta politics specifically.

A comment I saw there today changed that. This has everything to do with the election. You can do anything you want in Alberta, with little to no consequences (Lacombe-Ponoka).

I am L in 2SLGBTQIA+. I’ve never felt as unsafe as I do now.
