Finished reading a book that I started from years ago by Steve Grand, called "Creation: Life and How to Make It"

In the end the author states
"Intelligence is, furthermore, a much richer phenomenon than reasoning alone. Anyone who thinks they can make a machine with general intelligence of a human being, but no emotional or commonsensical qualities at all is wasting their time."

The TV series Pantheon reflects this, and also West World if I'm not mistaken
