#KariLake has filed a motion today conceding that she is liable in a #defamation lawsuit filed by #MaricopaCounty Recorder #StephenRicher. Richer sued Lake for her lies about his handling of her election for governor of #Arizona in 2022.

You've got to love the passage about the judge rejecting the claim by Kari Lake's lawyers that her comments were merely expressions of "imaginative expression or rhetorical hyperbole." In other words, Kari Lake is being accused of defaming Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer but she was really just engaging in whimsy.

With luck, Richer's lawyers will closely study the recent outcome of the similar Rudolph the Pinocchio-Nosed Lawyer case.

Has anyone noticed that conspiracy theories are tough to substantiate in court?
