PaseoBaggage➤The robots yearn for the mines. Or at least the mayor does.
➤The side caves are the best part of this game. Puzzles and platforming challenges await.
➤I've got the jackhammer arm and the grappling hook. This hook is great!
➤I've been following the plot so I did the east temple. Got the fire pickaxe and finally fought another boss.
➤The boss spammed fireballs and teleported around the map so 90% of it was avoiding getting hit and trying to find him. Close, but I got it on the first try.
➤I got into the hidden vault and got the extended grappling hook. Longer hook = more fun!
➤I activated an optional upgrade for enemies to sometimes drop gems, but you take more damage. The gems aren't worth much so it's technically not worth it. I've died a few times because of the extra damage though.
➤I'll probably spend some time in the normal mine and see what's there. Could use the cash for upgrades. You can buy more cogs from someone in town.
➤Most of these blueprints I'm unlocking require max level gear. Kind of a bummer I have to wait to use these.
➤Played the first one forever ago, figured I'd try this one since it was $1 on sale.
➤I honestly don't remember much from the first game to compare
➤Story: trying to find the main character from the first game. He disappeared!
➤Go in the mines to dig up ores and treasures and return to the surface to sell them and buy upgrades.
➤You can wall jump (off the same wall even) probably so you don't dig yourself into a hole you can't get out of. (That's probably still possible).
➤The game saves how you dug so make good decisions, okay! Wait, is there a limited amount of money you can earn?
➤I fought one boss in the starting area and have yet to see another.
➤The little side caves are nice. Usually they include some sort of puzzle and a secret.
➤Upgrade cogs - enhance your gear and you can swap where they are equipped at will.
➤You have limited light, but it's really just an annoyance if you run out.
➤I'm glad you can turn the quest marker off because it kind of ruins the exploration.
➤You have an experience bar which limits the max level of your gear. It also buffs your sell rate by +5% each level.
