Eight mobile deposit machines deployed for collecting cans, bottles on King’s Day

Statiegeld Nederland will place eight mobile bulk deposit machines for people to deposit their empty cans or plastic bottles during the King’s Day weekend. The machines will be placed in crowded areas of Eindhoven, Utrecht, and Amsterdam. The placement of the machines follows a “successful trial” during carnival when seven of these types of machines were placed in several areas in the south of the country. The trial showed that "Partygoers were able to find the mobile bulk machines easily," according to Statiegeld Nederland.
