„Schimmelpfennig: Die #DDR, die ich als Beute-Berliner ja nur von der Transitstrecke her kannte und aus dem DDR-Fernsehen, das ich gelegentlich schaute, empfand ich als grau und grottig. Doch nun lernte ich dieses Land Stück für Stück kennen. Ich übernahm ja später von der DDR-Plattenfirma VEB Deutsche Schallplatten Berlin/Amiga auch Platten von #Karat und #City auf mein Label #Pool und brachte die Bands in den Westen. Ich lernte also die Menschen kennen; die Leute von meinen Ostpartnern #Amiga, DDR-Künstleragentur und den Verlagen.
taz: Und?
Schimmelpfennig: Und auf einmal stellst du fest, in dem Land gibt es ein richtig pralles Leben, das sich kaum unterscheidet von dem im Westen. Mit richtigem Leben, damit meine ich #Suff und #Sex und auch diese ganzen #Verrücktheiten, die mit Jungsein verbunden sind. Das hatte ich so nie erwartet. Ich kam ja aus so einer Welt, die so ganz anders war und wo es alles im Überfluss gab. Und dann bist du in einer Welt, in der es an vielem mangelt und man sich um alles kümmern musste. Da blühte viel Kreativität. Das wuchs mir schnell ans Herz. Da wurden mir als nicht so politischem Menschen einige Dinge doch klarer.“
„Er hat mir das sofort erzählt. Daraufhin habe ich den Generaldirektor vom VEB Deutsche Schallplatten angerufen und ihn gebeten, Einfluss zu nehmen, damit solche Versuche unterbleiben.“

„taz: Du hast auch die Undergroundszene kennengelernt, etwa durch Aljoscha Rompe, den Chef der Band #FeelingB. Das war eine ganz andere Welt?
Schimmelpfennig: Absolut. Ich wusste zwar, dass es so etwas gab, aber ich hatte keine Vorstellung davon. Bands wie die #Puhdys, #City oder #Karat waren professionelle Formationen. Sie machten ihre Tourneen, produzierten Platten und verdienten ihr Geld. Der Underground war für sie fremd. Das waren zwei völlig unterschiedliche Welten. Aljoscha Rompe durfte ja mit seinem Schweizer Pass auch in den Westen und stand eines Tages mal in meinem Kreuzberger Büro. Er lud mich dann nach Ost-Berlin ein, wir tranken zusammen Wodka und er nahm mich mit zu #Punkkonzerten. Das war etwas, das ich in meinem Leben nie wieder erlebt habe. Schräg, wild, unangepasst – Punk vom Allerfeinsten. Selbst in West-Berlin hatte ich so etwas nicht gesehen. Punk war mir bis dahin eher fremd, aber es war unglaublich spannend.“
Auf jeden Fall. Und es war eben auch politisch und anders politisch als die Ärzte oder die Toten Hosen. Die sind ja auch politisch, aber es ist für sie ungefährlich.
„Ist der Ostrock doch mehr als eine eigentümliche Episode der Musikgeschichte?
Schimmelpfennig: Definitiv. Diese Kreativität deutschsprachiger Rockmusik gab es im Westen so nicht. In der DDR entstanden sehr eigenständige Kunstformen. Die Rockautoren waren oft echte Poeten: Leute wie Werner Karma oder Ulrich Plenzdorf. Diese Entwicklung hat tatsächlich dazu beigetragen, dass auch im Westen mehr deutsch gesungen wurde. Was mich in der DDR außerdem beeindruckte, war der Unternehmergeist der Bands. Sie funktionierten wie kleine Firmen. Hätte die DDR mehr Vertrauen in ihre Bürger gehabt, gäbe es sie vielleicht heute noch, wer weiß. Aber der Staat war immer misstrauisch und ideologisch geprägt.“
Bei den Kommunalwahlen 1989 gab es eine letzte Chance für die DDR-Führung. Sie haben sie vergeben.

Nel giorno in cui si inizia a parlare concretamente di una possibile richiesta di revisione del processo ad Alberto Stasi, Milo Infante dedica la puntata di Ore 14 Sera al caso di Garlasco. Si parte da uno degli elementi alla base della condanna del fidanzato di Chiara Poggi, la famosa telefonata al 118. "Lei ha fatto benissimo a riproporla perché da lì nasce tutto", afferma Antonio De Rensis, avvocato di Stasi secondo cui le vicende del suo assistito derivano tutte da lì: "Tutto nasce da quella telefonata.Passando per un fermo che non aveva alcun motivo di esistere, passando per uno scambio di pedali mai avvenuto e potrei andare avanti. E quindi è giusto che quella telefonata rappresenti un punto di partenza che non ha alcuna valenza probatoria".
L'avvocato è al centro anche di un altro caso, l'esposto presentato da una giornalista che sostiene che il legale "orienta indagini e tv". "C'è un'operazione realtà, e un'operazione spazzatura. Ma è una giornata bellissima", commenta De Rensis in trasmissione che racconta di essere stato registrato durante una cena in un noto ristorante di Milano il 22 gennaio scorso: .Perché se ho detto cose tanto gravi non ha parlato ma lo ha fatto solo ora?", chiede retoricamente il legale.
"Non è un po' strano che nei giorni in cui Napoleone chiede la revisione sostanzialmente del processo di Stasi, escano audio" che ipotizzano "manipolazioni e condizionamenti?", chiede Infante che non risparmia un commento duro sulla vicenda: "Quanto siamo caduti in basso?".

But it’s a beautiful day,” De Rensis comments in the broadcast that recounts being recorded during a dinner at a well-known Milan restaurant on January 22nd: “Why if I said so much, she didn’t speak but only now?” the lawyer asks rhetorically.
“Isn’t it strange that on the days when Napoleon asks for the substantial review of Stasi’s trial, audio recordings come out” that hypothesize “manipulations and conditioning?” Infante asks, who doesn’t spare a harsh comment about the affair: “How far have we fallen?”
